Toxoplasmosis

Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic condition benign in immunocompetent adults. Its onset in non-immunised pregnant woman can have dire consequences for the foetus. In view of the variability of the immunological response attributable the antigenic complexity of Toxoplasma gondii, it is necessary to combine several techniques using different antigens in order to establish the immunological status and detect a possible seroconversion.
